The Community Group Aimed At Clean Beaches in Port Melbourne

Group Clean - Saturday 14 April, 9am

Start at Princes Pier (Pier Street) to clean First Point Beach.

Following on from the environmental and community acheivements of our Middle and Albert Park neighbours, 3207 Beach Patrol is now up and running, having fun and helping to create world class, clean beaches for Port Melbourne and Sandridge.

3207 Beach Patrol is comprised of volunteers who are proud of our local beaches and wish to make a difference. By pledging a minimum of one hour voluntary cleaning each month, the combined efforts of our members will make our beaches cleaner and safer for the enjoyment and benefit of all..

Please join our initiative to help create sparkling beaches along the Port Melbourne and Sandridge foreshore. Our beaches are a wonderful resource for enjoyment, relaxation and recreation. Working with the endorsement and support of the City of Port Phillip our goal is to create consistently cleaner, safer and prettier beaches.

Our target area is divided in to four zones bounded by Pickles Street to the east, extending west to Station Pier. Then from Princes Pier along Sandridge beach to Webb Dock East. In signing up as a member you can choose a zone that best suits you.

You are cordially invited to join in the fun and you will find your one hour per month to be surprisingly rewarding. Being a part of 3207 Beach Patrol will also bring you closer to your community and is a great way to get to know your neighbours. From time to time non compulsory group clean ups will also be organised (for example on Clean Up Australia Day) and of course, health and safety is paramount so please read and understand the Safety page before signing up.

Join in the fun, make our beaches the envy and talk of the bay and receive a free t-shirt to work in ! Sign up now
